Safety at Chale

Safety is part of every ride. Chale records the trip, keeps the active driver and vehicle visible, and gives you a direct way to ask for help.

Before you ride

• Check the driver name, photo, vehicle and plate against the details in your app.
• Share your trip with a trusted contact from the active-ride screen.
• Choose a same-gender driver preference when a matching driver is available.

During a ride

• Use the in-ride safety option to open an auditable safety case for the operations team.
• Trip location updates and route history support live assistance and review.
• For an immediate medical emergency, call 108 first, then use Chale to request an ambulance.

Open the trip from Trips and choose help, or contact our support team. Safety reports receive a case ID so follow-up does not depend on a single chat session.
