Driver-partner agreement

Eligibility and vehicle requirements

You must be legally eligible to drive, provide truthful identity and contact details, complete the required KYC and background checks, and keep your licence, insurance, permit, fitness, PUC and other vehicle records valid. The vehicle must meet Chale's category and age requirements and be owned or authorised for your use.

Fares, commission and settlements

Chale calculates fares from the published rate card and shows the applicable breakdown before booking. Commission, incentives, tolls, taxes, refunds and cancellation charges are recorded in the ride ledger. Driver settlements are generated from traceable ledger entries and paid only after an authorised payout confirmation.

Safety and conduct

Suspension, fraud and accidents

Chale may pause dispatch while a document is expired, an incident is investigated, a safety condition is unresolved, or fraud signals require review. Report collisions, injury, theft and material vehicle damage to Chale and your insurer immediately. A suspension or deactivation decision includes a reason and a support/dispute path.

Insurance, privacy and disputes

You remain responsible for legally required vehicle, passenger and personal-accident coverage unless Chale separately confirms an additional policy. Chale processes driver data under its privacy policy, keeps verification evidence protected, and records agreement versions and material decisions. Questions or disputes can be raised through complaints & grievances.
